A VISIT TO AANGANWADI
About the Event :CSR Team of Delhi Public School Gandhinagar organized a special visit to Aanganwadi of Ambapur village.
Objective of the Event : The main objective was to inculcate moral values and train children about the life skills.

Delhi Public School Gandhinagar always takes initiative to create awareness about the life skills including moral values among the students.
The CSR Team of DPS Gandhinagar visited Anganwadi at Ambapur village on Saturday, 22 June 2019. The main aim of the team was to involve the kids in different activities. There were 36 children between the age group 3-6 years. The session started with a prayer thanking God for everything. During the circle time, the teachers taught them etiquettes and moral values which included most of the life skills. They also recited Gujarati rhymes with action. The students did printing activity on the birthday caps. They also coloured the pictures given on the worksheet during the Art and Craft Activity which was followed by a story on health and hygiene using puppets.
The fun time was the most excited part for the children as some games were arranged for them and they danced to the tune enthusiastically. Lastly, drawing books, crayons, biscuits and many small takeaways, made by the teachers, were distributed among the children.
The DPS CSR Team along with Anganwadi children had great fun.
